With the holidays and the January 1 renewal rush going on, I passed over a couple important staff changes at MTMIC. The good news is that these are changes with people you know and have worked with for years.
First Megan Brown, our Director of Sales & Marketing for the last 6 ½ years was promoted to Vice President of Sales & Marketing. Megan is the field presence and face of MTMIC. Our growth is the net result of Megan’s efficient and effective work. Prior to joining MTMIC Megan spent 15 years as a marketing manager and director in the field of occupational health. Megan obtained her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University. She has been active in a variety of associations. Her family including her husband, daughter and son are avid runners competing regularly in half and full marathons.
Chris Doebler has been the MTMIC Controller for the last 20 years. Chris was promoted to Chief Financial Officer. He produces our financial statement and budget, handles our multiple accounts management, makes our state filings and is a key player in our investment strategy. He received his degree from Lawrence Technological University and we use his CPA education every day. Besides this full load, he takes the lead on office computer issues and building issues as they arise. Including the MTMIC/MTA, Chris’ accounting experience spans over 30 years.
Glenda Moyle with over 30 years at MTMIC/MTA wins the award for longest term MTMIC employee. As our Premium Accounting Manager, all of our policyholders have talked with Glenda once or twice a year. With Glenda’s memory, she knows most of our customers by name and the details of your account over the years. We are fortunate to have Glenda and her history. With some internal restructuring it was natural to take her experience, history and organizational skills and promote her to Corporate Secretary in addition to her Premium Accounting Manager duties.
If you are looking for the most frugal claims manager in the United States, you would find Donna Motley. Donna has over 36 years of workers’ compensation claims experience with the last 18 years being with MTMIC/MTA. Donna is the foundation of our claims department and you will find (or have already experienced) her tough negotiation position on claims issues and settlements. She is the perfect person to be watching your claims dollars. Donna was promoted to Director of Claims.
These are four people who are critical to the MTMIC process and success. I am glad they are on our team to serve you.
